I have a feeling this little man is going to be a thumb sucker. He tries so hard to get it in his mouth...being successful a few times now. His little head gets to moving from side to side (like he's shaking it no) so fast, we just can't help but laugh. He wakes up in the middle of the night and I know all he wants is something to suck on. If he could only find his thumb, we'd all have a lot more rest. However, another part of me wants nothing more for him to NOT suck his tiny little thumb. (Even if it does mean I get more rest.) I hate to think of all the nasty germs he'd be putting into his precious body. It's also something I won't be able to take away when the time comes. I'm torn whether or not I should let him figure out the thumb sucking or pop that paci in when he's searching for the thumb.
