I'm extremely happy that I get to spend all summer with my babies! I know that in just a few short weeks I will be walking out of a daycare in tears when I leave Brooks for the first time, and when I drop Kylee off in her classroom to start her journey as an elementary student in KINDERGARTEN!!
It's been quite an adjustment going from one child to TWO! In the past, our summer was full of adventures...swimming, (most of the time) trips to the park, bike rides, and oh so much more. But, with a new little one in the house, our summer has been a bit different. Kylee and I both have had a hard time adjusting. Both of us have become a little stir crazy. We wouldn't have it any other way, seeing how we get to spend all our days with our favorite little man, Brooks! Instead, our summer days have been filled with cool indoor activities. Lots of trips to the library, visiting friends, and playing here at the house. I even showed Kylee how to make a fort. She was so worn out from playing she passed out...her AND Brooksters!
