Our trip began early Friday morning. Kylee and Brooks were such troopers. Kylee watched a movie and took a nap. Then she asked probably 1,000 questions about everything we passed by. Brooks was such a good traveler. He slept almost the entire trip...waking only once to eat and burp.

Grandma Clara is Charlie's dad's mom. She's one of the sweetest little ladies I have ever met. After getting settled in and visiting, she had sandwich stuff for us to eat for dinner. The best part was homemade peach cobbler. Yum! Yum! We enjoyed having some one-on-one time with Clara. Soon after dinner, the house started to fill with visitors. It was so nice for everyone to meet Brooks!

Clara has more jewelry than anyone I have ever seen. Most of it costume jewelry, but still beautiful. She invited Kylee in to pick out some clip on earrings. After searching and searching she finally found the perfect pair. Kylee continues to wear them everyday. Clara even made me come pick out a pair too. I chose a simple hoop that would go with any outfit.

Chloe, Khristi's daughter, and Kylee had a ball playing. They got into Grandma Clara's make-up and dolled themselves up. Don't they look gorgeous?!?! They stayed up until 3:30am playing.
The next morning we met Khristi and her wonderful family for breakfast and some playing at the park.
