Brooks loves playing on the floor while people talk to him. Especially his big sister, Kylee. She's so sweet and loving with him. She'll talk his little ear off and kiss his head. So much, that we sometimes have to ask her to stop.
Can you see why she's always wanting to kiss him?!?! He's so handsome!
The other night Kylee wanted to give Brooks a bath, but it's a little hard for her to bend over the side of the bathtub. So, she jumped on in with him. What a little helper she is too!
Brooks has always loved his baths. He will be upset while we are undressing him and as soon as those cute little toes hit the water, he relaxes and enjoys a nice warm scrub down. I try to keep him on a routine. He's one little sleeping machine, so he normally takes a nice long nap in the late evenings. He will wake up around 8 and play for about 30 minutes, take a bath, get a massage, and then eat his last bottle around 9 or 9:30. Most of the time he will stay up for about 30 minutes to and hour and play some more before we lay him in his crib for the night. I can tell he is sleepy because he'll start to squeal. Right now he is sleeping about 6 hours...waking up about 3:30am. He will then wake up around 6 and go back to sleep again until 8 or so. I can't wait for him to start sleeping through the night. He's almost there. As for naps....he doesn't really like them unless he's in his swing, someone's arms, or in his car seat. He'll sleep for hours at a time in those conditions. But, if you put him in his crib for a nap, you can count on him waking up after about 30 minutes. I don't have too big of a problem with this, as long as he is still able to put himself to sleep in his crib at night.
