SARDINES

I have to say...I LOVE Sundays.  It's the one day of the week neither Charlie or I have to work.  We get to spend the entire day hanging out as a family.  This Sunday, we started off with brunch at Steak n' Shake.  Kylee was realllllly wanting some pancakes and sausage.  So of course, Daddy couldn't tell her no.
After we filled up on yummy breakfast, we went to Target to get Kylee some summer clothes.  This girl will not stop growing.  She just turned five and she is wearing 6X or size 7 pants.  Crazy!!!!  Charlie and I must have been in the decorating mood because we went to Pier 1 and bought a brown zebra ottoman, a new lamp,  and a few other things.  After we got home and put all the stuff up in the family room, I went back out to get a few things to add to the room.  First I stopped at Kirklands then headed back over to Pier 1.  I had a whole list of items to get.  In the midst of carrying out all the bags, I forgot a picture in the store.  Not realizing until I returned home, Charlie went back out to get it.  Upon his return, we moved some furniture around and decided we just weren't satisfied.  We went out one last time.  First stopping at Bed Bath and Beyond, then Kirklands again, and of course our 4th trip to Pier 1.  We ended up spending waaaaaay too much, but the sweet lady checking us out made it all worth it.  She gave us some huge discounts.  After all the shopping and decorating, we were starving.  Thanks to my mom, Charlie and I had bar-b-que stuffed potatoes.  Kylee was gagging from the smell, so of course she wouldn't even look at it.  She had some left over french fries and chicken from dinner the night before.  However, she wanted sardines.  Yes, that's right...SARDINES!!!!!!!!!  Look at her....just eating the entire thing.  She nearly ate the whole can.  I have never tried sardines, but she talked me into it last night.  I have to say, they aren't too bad.
We ended our eventful day by jumping on the trampoline for a little while, running to Sonic for ice cream, and snuggling in the newly decorated family room.
