Of Course the Evening Wasn't Over

Of course the evening wasn't over.  After we ate lasagna, Charlie took us all to Baskin Robbins to get ice cream.

Yes, that would be chocolate ice cream on my husband's nose.  Don't ask why or how!  Charlie and I both are goofy people.  If any of you have ever met Kylee, you know that the the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.  She is exactly the same way. Always trying to make people laugh.  That's just who we are.  The Vaughans!!!  On the way to the ice cream shop, Cailey said she wanted to live with us because we were so crazy.  I tried to explain to her, that this is how we are all the time.  No kidding.  We are crazy people ALL the time.  She insisted she could deal with it.
After we left Baskin Robbins we went to Shenaniganz to play a round of put-put and ride some go-carts.  Take a look at Cailey's outfit! LOL  Doesn't she look lovely?  Charlie was giving her a hard time....telling her we don't dress like that in Texas.  Only in Nebraska do they run around with no shoes and wear those kind of clothes.  I do have to say, she changed from her cute outfit into this after we got home from the pottery place, thinking we were in for the night.
Playing put-put

Silly picture!

Texas Longhorn.  Again, don't ask why Charlie is laying under the cow!!!!

After the game of put-put, Charlie, Kylee, and Cailey took a quick ride on the go-carts.  Just look at those faces.

Peace out, Dawg!

Charlie and Kylee had to ride in a double cart, so Cailey had to ride by herself.  I think she was really trying to concentrate here.

I am so excited that we all get to spend two more days together.  We are heading out to Charming Charlie's this afternoon, then Charlie and I are taking the girls out to dinner.  Who knows what Charlie has up his sleeve for tonight.  Whatever it is, it should be fun.

  1. We are back in Nebraska, and already we miss our Texas family! Was so nice to see everyone again...and the girls are still chattering about all the fun stuff you guys did with them! We are still calling out "BUG!" and were laughing about you having to go "tinkle" :) Thanks for being you!
