I recently heard of a restaurant in Royse City called, Fish Camp. It's a nice little place out in the middle of no where. Very cute and "country". We ate a nice country home-style cooked meal and then headed out to fish!
Even Baby Brooks was able to join in on the fun! Don't you just love his fisherman's hat!?!?

Cailey had the first catch! The deal was, who ever caught the first fish got to decide where we were going to go to eat ice cream.
We didn't want to take the fish off the hooks, so we had the men around do it for us.
Kylee was "petting" the fish. She was a little hesitant, but eventually touched it with one finger.

Kylee was playing with the worms. Every now and then she would jump and scream. She thought the worm was trying to bite her!
Kylee was a little frustrated after everyone was catching fish and she just couldn't do it. Finally, after being very patient and never giving up, she caught one. I think everyone within 10 miles of her could hear her scream. "I caught one! I caught one!" I wanted a picture of her holding the fish up, but it was flopping everywhere and she got scared. She was much more comfortable taking the picture with the fish laying on the ground.
About 10 minutes before it was time to go, I finally caught one. (Thanks to Cailey's private lessons.) It was a tiny one, but it was a fish!
All together we caught 22 fish. The girls had such a great time. They've requested to come back and fish tonight. I don't think that will happen, but I do know that Charlie and I owe them ice cream. Cailey's pick!
